Claudia J. Samuelson, Strategic Talent Acquisition Consultant, Advisor
There is a precise alchemy involved in a successful hire. The process calls for special ingredients: not merely the ability to match point-on-point with requirements, but also a keen eye to spot the candidate with just the rightpersonality, talent and abilities to be the best person for the job. Long term success is the only kind that matters – this is my core value. It’s reflected in the fact that, due to exacting selection standards, my matches stay with my clients at least three years longer than the median industry standard. I formed Samuelson Resource Group in 1996 to fill the gap between what most recruiting firms provide and where the markets were headed. Based in the Twin Cities, I work nationally and in Canada for forward thinking organizations seeking A players. In 2015 I parlayed my skills in finding, recruiting, evaluating and captivating prospective employees for my client companies into a purely sourcing capacity. This is an hourly model with built in metrics designed to significantly cut recruiting costs. Before founding my company, I was an HR Leader at a VC-funded medical device company where I successfully brought in key talent to build the company to acquisition stage. In another position, as the operations executive for a national staffing firm, I built a new division from scratch that exceeded targets and poised the firm for acquisition. I’ve worked as a corporate recruiter, career coach and journalist. I hold an undergraduate degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development. I have combined all these skills with an entrepreneurial spirit to help growing companies acquire the right talent, innovate and achieve their goals. Client companies seek me out when they know that only my kind of creativity and stamina will work for their most challenging assignments. Years in business has taught me that relationships and trust are essential assets. When I accept you as a client or candidate, it’s because I know we’ll build a connection we’ll both value for years to come. I invite you to get in touch for an initial consultation.
